OTF-1200X-III-VT-FB Continuous Fluidized-Bed Furnace with Automatic Powder Feeding and Collection, Up to 1200°C
The OTF-1200X-III-VT-FB is engineered to support continuous laboratory-scale powder processing tasks such as particle coating, thermal treatment, and chemical vapor deposition (CVD). It enables precise thermal processing of powders by fluidizing them within a heated quartz reactor, facilitating uniform exposure to process gases and temperature control up to 1200°C.
Powder is automatically introduced into the system via a sealed feeding mechanism and transported by compressed air or inert gas through an 80 mm outer diameter quartz tube housed within a three-zone vertical split tube furnace. The furnace provides independent temperature control across three 300 mm zones, allowing tailored heating profiles. Processed particles exit through a cyclone separation system that efficiently collects over 70% of the powder in a sealed stainless steel container, minimizing contamination and loss.

Typical Applications
This furnace system is suited for continuous laboratory-scale powder pyrolysis, particle coating via CVD, and thermal treatment processes requiring precise temperature control and efficient powder handling. It is ideal for research and development in materials science, catalyst preparation, and advanced powder processing.
Configuration & Operating Notes
The system includes a sealed automatic powder feeder with adjustable screw speed and integrated stirring to ensure consistent powder delivery. Carrier gases such as compressed air or inert gases (e.g., argon) transport powder into the heated zone. Process gases for CVD can be introduced as needed. Powder recovery is achieved via two cyclone separators and a sealed stainless steel collection container, with a downstream dust filter to minimize exhaust contamination.
Temperature controllers provide programmable heating profiles with safety features including overheating protection and broken thermocouple alarms. Optional software and laptop packages are available for temperature profile management and data logging. Power plug is not included and must be sourced separately.
