GSL-1600X-FS3KW Horizontal Electrical-Assisted Flash Sintering Tube Furnace with 1600°C Max Temperature and 3KW Programmable AC Power Source
The GSL-1600X-FS3KW is engineered for advanced research on electrical-assisted flash sintering of ceramic materials. It integrates a horizontal tube furnace capable of continuous operation at temperatures up to 1600°C with a dedicated 3KW programmable AC power source to apply controlled electrical fields during sintering. This combination enables densification of ceramics through simultaneous thermal and electrical stimuli.
The furnace includes a high-purity alumina tube with an outer diameter of 80 mm and a length of 1000 mm, providing a stable heating zone of 457 mm and a constant temperature zone of 150 mm with ±3°C uniformity. A sliding sample fixture inside the vacuum-sealed stainless steel flange allows easy sample loading and positioning. The sample holder uses platinum wires (Ø1 mm) capable of carrying up to 208 V and 15 A, facilitating the passage of electrical current necessary for flash sintering experiments.
