OTF-1200X-R5-BM Rotary Ball Milling Furnace with Controlled Atmosphere and Up to 1100°C Operating Temperature
The OTF-1200X-R5-BM is engineered for advanced powder processing tasks requiring simultaneous milling and nitriding under a controlled atmosphere. It is particularly suited for preparing rare-earth-free magnetic materials and catalyst activation through mechanochemical methods. The system integrates a rotary quartz processing tube with internal YSZ milling balls that reduce powder particle size while exposing the material to ammonia gas for nitriding at elevated temperatures.
This compact rotary furnace features a two-zone heating system that maintains a stable temperature zone of 100 mm within ±2°C, reaching up to 1100°C continuously when using the quartz tube. The tube rotates at variable speeds up to 10 RPM, driven by a gear DC motor, enabling effective mechanochemical activation. The design includes a double-shell casing with alumina fibrous insulation for energy efficiency and a split cover for rapid cooling and ease of operation.
