YLJHP15L Large Hydraulic Laminating Hot Press with 40T Force, Up to 400°C, Optional 15″ or 24″ Stainless Steel Heated Platens
The YLJHP15L is engineered to address the demanding requirements of lamination processes involving polymer and ceramic materials. It provides precise control over temperature and pressure to ensure uniform bonding and material integrity during hot pressing. This model is ideal for laboratory-scale sample preparation where high force and controlled heating are essential.
This hot press integrates a hydraulic system capable of delivering a maximum pressing force of 40 tons through manual operation. The pressing force is accurately monitored by a pressure gauge with a measuring accuracy of ±1.25 kN. Two stainless steel heated platens, available in either 15″x15″ or 24″x24″ dimensions, are independently controlled by digital temperature controllers with a maximum continuous operating temperature of 400°C. The platens feature water cooling jackets to enable rapid cooling immediately after pressing, enhancing process efficiency and sample handling.

Typical Applications
This hot press is suitable for preparing polymer and ceramic samples requiring precise lamination under controlled heat and pressure. It is widely used in materials research, composite fabrication, and sample preparation for analytical testing.
Configuration & Operating Notes
The hydraulic pump and cylinder are designed as separate components for ease of maintenance and replacement. The unit includes a stainless steel protection door for operator safety. An electric hydraulic pump is available as an optional accessory to enable automatic pressure control, though pumping cycles may take up to 20 minutes. The water cooling system includes a 16 L/min recirculating chiller to rapidly reduce platen temperature after processing. Operators should avoid exceeding the maximum piston travel distance of 80 mm to prevent equipment damage.
