GSL-2800-GRF High-Temperature Graphitization Chamber Furnace with Graphite Heating Elements up to 2800°C and Vacuum Capability
The GSL-2800-GRF furnace is engineered for laboratory applications demanding graphitization at temperatures reaching 2800°C. It is particularly suited for processes requiring controlled atmospheres and precise thermal management, such as advanced material synthesis and treatment involving graphite-based samples.
This furnace incorporates a water-cooled vacuum chamber constructed from stainless steel 304, ensuring durability and thermal stability. The chamber’s interior is insulated with three to five layers of graphite felt, minimizing heat loss and maintaining uniform temperature distribution. The cylindrical graphite heating element provides an effective heating zone of 100 mm diameter by 260 mm length, accommodating samples up to 80 mm in diameter and 200 mm in length.

Typical Applications
This furnace is ideal for high-temperature graphitization of carbon materials, synthesis of advanced ceramics, and research requiring controlled atmospheres at ultra-high temperatures. It supports processes such as thermal treatment, annealing, and material phase transformations under vacuum or inert/reducing gas environments.
Configuration & Operating Notes
The furnace requires an external vacuum pump and water chiller, which are not included. Adequate laboratory water supply is necessary to support the cooling system. Remote temperature control and monitoring are facilitated through an RS485 interface compatible with iTools software. Safety interlocks monitor water flow, pressure, and overtemperature conditions to protect the equipment during operation.
