Configuration & Operating Notes
The furnace is supplied with a drop-down door and a sintered mullite plate for sample placement. An optional 2″ quartz tube with flange can be ordered for vacuum applications. Two 8 mm barbed fittings for gas inlet and outlet can be installed at extra cost; self-installation is required. The furnace includes built-in protections for overheating and broken thermocouple.
For safety, toxic or explosive gases should not be used without proper controls and supervision. It is recommended to operate the furnace inside a fume hood when handling hazardous gases. Minor refractory ceramic cracks may develop with extended use; these can be repaired with alumina coating.
Compliance
- CE Certified
- NRTL (UL61010) or CSA certification available at extra cost
