YLJ-10T Compact Hydraulic Lab Press with 10 Metric Ton Capacity, Separable Manual Pump, and Safety Shield

The YLJ-10T is designed for laboratory environments requiring precise compaction of materials such as ceramic powders for research and sample preparation. It delivers a maximum pressing force of 10 metric tons, suitable for producing dense, uniform samples in chemistry and materials science labs. Its compact footprint and integrated transparent safety cover provide secure operation while allowing clear visibility of the pressing process.

This model features a manually operated hydraulic pump that is physically separated from the pressing cylinder, enhancing user safety and simplifying maintenance or replacement of the pump unit. The hydraulic cylinder has a diameter of 35 mm and a travel distance of 45 mm, accommodating a working space of 125 mm length, 100 mm width, and 100 mm height. The built-in pressure gauge enables direct monitoring of applied pressure, with a conversion scale provided to relate gauge pressure (MPa) to actual force (tons) applied to the sample.

Key Features

  • Maximum pressing force of 10 metric tons with integrated pressure gauge
  • Separable manual hydraulic pump for safer operation and easier maintenance
  • Transparent protective shield for operator safety and process visibility
  • Hydraulic cylinder diameter of 35 mm and 45 mm travel distance
  • Working chamber dimensions: 125 mm (L) x 100 mm (W) x 100 mm (H)

Configuration & Operating Notes

The manual hydraulic pump is detached from the pressing cylinder to improve safety and facilitate maintenance. When using small or short dies, spacers may be required to achieve the desired pressure. Pressing dies are optional accessories and should be selected according to sample size and shape requirements.

For powders with particle sizes smaller than 30 microns, use caution as fine particles may damage the pressing die by slipping into gaps. It is recommended to sieve powders to 32–75 microns particle size range before pressing. Cleaning the mold with ethanol after each use is advised to maintain equipment condition.
