Operating Guidelines
- Balanced Loading: Always install two jars symmetrically or four jars with comparable total weights to maintain proper balance during rotation.
- Single Sample Operation: When processing with one jar, install a counterbalancing jar with equivalent total weight on the opposite side.
- Sample Preparation: Reduce feed material to a recommended particle size of 2 mm or smaller before milling.
- Loading Limit: The combined volume of samples and grinding balls should not exceed 75% of the jar capacity.
- Material Compatibility: Select appropriate grinding jars and milling balls according to material hardness, chemical compatibility, and contamination requirements.
- Grinding Results: Final particle size depends on material properties, grinding time, operating speed, and the selected jar and milling media combination.
